Privacy Policy
Effective / last updated: October 1, 2026
College Wrestling is a sports-information service covering college wrestling schedules, results, and rankings. This policy explains what personal information we collect and how we use it.
Account information
When you create an account, we collect your name and email address. If you sign in with Google, we receive basic profile information needed for authentication — currently your name and email address. Password credentials are handled by our authentication provider; we do not store passwords ourselves.
Personalization
Features such as followed teams and account preferences may store your choices when you use them, so the site can reflect them on your account.
Analytics
We use a standard analytics service to understand aggregate site usage — such as which pages are viewed and general device/browser information. This helps us improve the service. We do not use analytics to build precise location profiles or to profile you for advertising.
How we use information
- Operate and authenticate your account
- Provide the features and personalization you request
- Maintain the security and reliability of the service
- Understand aggregate usage of the site
- Send service and account notices where applicable
Sharing
We do not sell personal information. Personal information may be processed by service providers we rely on to operate the service — such as hosting, authentication, analytics, and email providers — and may be disclosed when legally required.
Third-party links and content
The site links to team sites, broadcasts, and other external services. Those services have their own privacy practices, and this policy does not apply to them.
Data retention and deletion
We retain account data as needed to provide your account and meet legitimate operational and legal needs. You may request deletion of your account or data through the College Wrestling support contact used for the service.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect personal information. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
College Wrestling is a general-audience sports service and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the service evolves. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
Contact
Questions about this policy or your account can be sent through the College Wrestling support contact used for the service.
